About
Ynes is the head healer and founder of Niwe Rao Xobo, originally from the Roaboya community near the Ucayali River in Peru. She began training under three healers at age 14 and has worked with plant medicine for over 60 years.
She is the mother of seven, four of whom continue the family's healing lineage as maestras at the center.
