The Liminal Edge

Psychedelic Preparation & Integration

Psychedelics

Gateways to expanded states of consciousness

Gateways to expanded states of consciousness, dissolving ordinary patterns of perception and opening access to deeper layers within. Psychedelics can catalyze profound transformation - unlocking insight, dissolving barriers, and reweaving connections within the self and with existence.

When undertaken with proper preparation, ethical guidance, and integration support, psychedelic-assisted experiences catalyse significant shifts in perspective and meaning. These are context-dependent gateways - not shortcuts - requiring rigour and reverence.

Science Foundations & Lineages

Grounded in Johns Hopkins Psychedelic Research, Imperial College London studies, MAPS clinical trials, and Stan Grof's Holotropic research. Informed by Timothy Leary's Exo-Psychology, indigenous ceremonial traditions, and integration science.

Questions about Psychedelics

What is psychedelic integration?

Psychedelic integration is the process of making sense of a psychedelic experience and translating its insights into lasting changes in daily life. Integration support, through coaching, therapy or peer circles, is widely seen as essential to whether an experience leads to real change.

What does a psychedelic integration coach do?

A psychedelic integration coach supports people before and after an experience: preparation, intention-setting, and afterwards helping them process what came up and build practices around it. Integration coaches do not supply substances, and the work respects local law.

Is psychedelic-assisted therapy legal?

It depends on the country and substance. Clinical research is under way at institutions including Johns Hopkins and Imperial College London, and a few jurisdictions allow regulated use, but in most places psychedelics remain illegal outside approved research. 21 Dimensions focuses on preparation and integration where it is legal.
